It had been... an interesting night. We arrive to this giant tree only for my new foster mother to open the door which revealed a home HOME. To be honest.. I was a little impressed, my jaw almost dropping as I followed inside and looking around to find a dark corner where I walked over and immediately plopped down.

Days passed as I usually did the same thing over and over.. it was... nice. I felt somewhat at peace as occassionally Mother Baste would use her fire magic as it seemed to... coax me over. However today was not one of those days as I was resting near Icarus as he drew... He seemed to do that a lot as it was always something different. I don't think he was comfortable with the egg because it would usually rest closer to me and for a split second you could see his eye widen in a bit of fright. Today however the egg was with Mother Baste, my eyes slowly drifting back to closing when a sudden screech could be heard through out the home.

"Boys boys! QUICK~" Baste yelled out as my ears perked up and my eyes flew open. Icarus and I looked at each other before frantically jumping to our feet and running into the next room where the egg was now cracked open. We looked at each other once again before cautiously moving forward only to see that the wyngling had hatched where my nose scrunched up, thinking, "You woke me up... for THIS." I wasn't mad but I was certainly irritated not knowing if it was due to me teething or perhaps the itchyness of my new fur.
